Is Daily Kos down right now?
Maybe you're here because you're trying to access Daily Kos and it's not coming up. There are three good places to check to see if it's down for everyone or just for you.

- status.dailykos.com is a place where the tech team can inform you of maintenance or issues around downtime if we know about it and are working to fix it.
- Is It Down For Everyone Or Just Me is a useful site that can help you see the state of the internet.
Unplanned site outages are rare, so problems with loading the site outside of scheduled maintenance usually arise from a network problem or from an overfull cache on the user's side (among other causes). Tips for addressing such issues may be found within the Help Desk resource linked below.
We will also link relevant status reports for acute issues that affect site features and access, to support users' ability to diagnose and work around problems.
