System won't let me log in and write a post or a comment
After you register a user account, you must confirm your email address before the account is fully activated. An email is sent to you, and you must click on the link it contains to confirm the site registration.
If you didn't get the activation email, you can have another sent by asking the [Helpdesk].(http://helpdesk.dailykos.com/)
There is no waiting period to write a post or comment.
If you don't have the option to write a post or comment, it may be that your account was quarantined in a spam trap. If this has happened to you, you'll need help from an administrator at the help desk. If you sound like a real human, your account will be reactivated as soon as possible - though note that Helpdesk is not staffed on weekends.
