No No NO!

The masks you keep advertising at the top of the Daily Kos mailing list messages are entirely wrong for preventing the spread of covid19.

Masks do a better job when they are worn by the person who is already carrying covid19 is wearing a mask, and even better when both the carrier and the non-infected are wearing masks. However, if the unknowing carrier of covid19 is wearing one of those stupid ventilated masks then guess what? they're passing completely unfiltered breath out the vents. That means the mask will do absolutely nothing to prevent them from spreading their infection around.

If you are going to trash on Facebook for not properly vetting advertisements, then you need to step up and do so yourself!

Here is a direct link to the video on the product website. The real important detail is at around 28 seconds. The valves ma be closeable, but the video should start out with that and explain why it's important before this nonsense about how awful and oxygen depleating N95s are (a complete baldfaced lie, by the way. Yes, it gets hot, but no it does not reduce oxygen intake.) Stop promoting this selfish crap.
