honorifics on petitions to politicians
Greetings,
I've signed several petitions with you and while a relatively minor thing, you lack a gender neutral honorific when sending letters to politicians. I just check with both Senator Harris' and Rep. Desaulnier's websites and when writing to both directly both offer Mx. as an option. Why don't you?

Hello, and thanks for your query.
That is interesting, to hear that the MOC's websites offer those options. Our understanding is that there is an interface via the petition between our site and the MOC's, and that it's the MOC's preferences that determine what is available to our petition signers here.
You're not the only one who has asked about this, but you're the first to note a difference like the one you mention. I'll see what I can find out. Now, we may both be correct: it is possible that the website design for each MOC is managed completely separately from the content we have available to us. We'll see.
Thanks for your support of the mission of the site.
