It there any particular reason why we can't add a poll to an unpublished diary? While writing the diary, if I click SAVE & PREVIEW (which I do while I am writing) the Poll option disappears. Today I had to explain to a contributor to a series that she would have to rewrite her diary in order to add the Poll.

Isn't there a simpler way to do this?

You should be able to add a poll while in edit mode on a diary.

Today I was able to add a poll to a diary I had written that was not in a group queue. But the diary that is in a group queue which does have a poll in it was not visible to me in either mode (the poll, that is, I could read and edit the diary). I did not write that diary, I am just scheduling it. Here is the link:
http://www.dailykos.com/story/2012/06/10/1099011/- It is part of the Readers & Book Lovers Monday Murder Mystery series written by Michelewln. Does access become limited once a diary is published to a queue?

I can see the poll fine. What browser are you using?

Google Chrome but I also checked Safari and can't see it there either.

Now that the diary has been published I can see the poll. But not while it was in the queue. Michelewin could see it in the queue. Weird.
