AACK! Get it off!! Get it off!!

Is there ANY way I can delete that stupid thing? If not, how do I submit the opinion that it's... awful?

Chill. The tip jar is a way for readers to express approval (or disapproval) of your article (aka "diary"). It's placed in the diary automatically by the DK system. Don't get hung up on the word "tip" - the word itself is irrelevant.
Maybe you should spend some time reading diaries (notice that they all - except for those by Front Page staff - have tip jars).

Thank you, Eyesbright. Yes, I know its purpose, but I find it extremely tacky - ME putting "tip jar" there as a comment? Eesh. Tacky.

Thank you for taking the time to respond!
