From time to time I would like to forward a Daily Kos post to friends. Without Twitter or Facebook, how can i do this?

    Simply copy the URL for the article and paste it in to an e-mail. URL = the address (the link) to the article. You'll see it in the address bar at the top left of the screen.

    Yes, it is true that one can copy and paste an article's URL into an email to pass it along. Thanks for that tip, Eyesbright.
    It is also true that the headline of an article is itself a hyperlink. If you copy and paste it into an email you'll see how it behaves. The formatting might need some adjusting, since it's likely to be very large, but depending on your email provider that should be an easy process.
