Is there a way to change ones Userid and keep my history?

My username is ApauledinNJ which I took about 5 years ago when I lived in NJ. I have since moved to North Carolina so I would like to use ApauledinNC but I know there is a policy against posting under multiple user ids. I do not want people to infer from my posts that I still live in NJ because of my username.

    Hello, and thanks for asking.

No, unfortunately, we don't allow such changes. It does happen on occasion that users' names become obsolete in a sense, and folks will catch on.

You can add some text to the Signature box in your profile (via your Edit Profile page). That text will display in a hover with your username. That would help some, anyway.
