I use igHOME and I've added the RSS feed they call eKos but it doesn't update. I activated refresh every 10 minutes and it still doesn't update.

    Hello, and thanks for asking.

I'm not confident that you can actually pull our RSS feed from a reader in the way that you describe it. We updated our own feed a while ago--though perhaps not long enough ago for all feed readers to have taken note.

The best way to upload our current feed link, no matter what feed reader you use, is to 1) disable or unfollow Daily Kos from your feed reader. (The steps will vary.) Then, 2) go to our RSS link at the bottom of our home page and click on the RSS link. I have attached a screenshot showing where the RSS link is located--just above the site footer--and with the link selected, so that the destination URL is displayed in the lower left corner of the screenshot.

Your reader will likely recognize the updated link. It might be necessary to paste in this direct link to the feed https://www.dailykos.com/user/main/rss.xml but it probably won’t be, since your installed feed reader will prompt you to confirm that you want to subscribe.

If anything should go amiss, please feel free to return with additional questions.

Thanks for your support of the site.

igHome (http://www.ighome.com/) is not listed as a site on the pull down
menu. I'm trying to use the link you send. Currently Technical
Difficulties. I'll get back to you is everything fails.

I used the link you sent me ( https://www.dailykos.com/user/main/rss.xml).
Was accepted but the feed doesn't provide any info. I only have a blank
square. I'm wondering if FEEDBURNER might be able to add igHome.com as a
READER option. By the way, this isn't a problem since DailyKos is one of my
    default opening pages.

Thanks for the incentive to check out something new.

It looks to me like the Feedly reader is standard on igHome, no? I don't see that igHome per se is set up to interpret a feed, but instead that it hosts/presents web tools of various kinds, including Feedly. Is it available to you and have you tried it for our feed? Last I knew, Feedly was up to date with the proper feed to use for Daily Kos.
(Feedburner isn't something that applies to us.)
