Forgotten password

I failed to record my new password after I changed it some months ago, and then accidentally logged myself off last week. So I did the obvious thing and clicked the “Forgot My Password” link, which after I entered my email address informed me that a reset email would be sent to me. No such email was forthcoming, and yes I did check my spam folder.

So I tried opening a ticket under the "Password and Account Access Issues” category on the help desk. I was informed that since I had posted the request with the email of an existing member (me) it couldn’t the acted on until the email address was verified, which I could do by logging in under my DK credentials. Do we see the problem here?

Tried again under the “Problems” category. Same response.

Trying one more time using my backup email address. It shouldn’t be this hard.
