Comment were turned off on my article, and I don't know how to turn them back on

Hello: I welcome comments that is why I was surprised to see that comments for my article on the Florida Water issues were turned off? I don't know how to turn them back on, can you please help. TY.

    Hello, and thanks for your question.

    But I admit to being a little perplexed by your inquiry. The last post I see with the topic of Florida water was published in August of 2018. It did have an excellent run, but we don't permit stories to remain open to comments indefinitely. There is a nine-day window for commenting on a story; after that time, it's closed. Is there a particular reason why you were hoping to have it open to more comments now?
