DKos page in Safari 9.1.2 (11601.7.7) not showing comment threads, just diary headers. Chrome is fine.

This morning I opened Daily Kos with Safari and found that only the front page showed (no sidebar, no login info) and no comments comments showed below each diary header. In Chrome I had no problem. In Safari the banner below the #tags shows:
"DAILY KOS" "Join the mailing list" "Help" and that's all- no "Blog It" and doesn't show my login name OR a prompt to log in. Clicking on a diary name takes me just to the diary header, still can't see comments.
Did you have an update that broke Safari? Did Safari break DKos? Note that I have no problems in Chrome, but I prefer using Safari if possible.
Thanks very much!

    Hi again.

We do provide an even more stripped-down version of the site, which will work on a large number of platforms-- namely, the RSS feed. That method requires an RSS feed reader, however, and it is a read-only experience only for stories.

There may be no universally satisfactory solution, but we are still seeing what we can do.

Thank you, I was unaware/didn't notice the RSS option and will explore
    this.

The current problem is frustrating because the mobile site was working so
well for such a long time (I even recommended it to the NYT as a service
they might want to offer). Then in July something happened to break it,
something fixed the problem several days later, and now it happens again.
Sorry if my my frustration seeped into my comments -- I worked in a
(non-tech) customer support tole for a long time and should know better. I
greatly appreciate all the work you do to support the DK community.

One last thought: not sure when the small pop up ads at the bottom of the
screen were introduced, but the seem to be the last thing that loads.
Wonder if they normally load before of after the content?

Thanks, bioandy, for your kind words and your apology, which of course I accept.

I think I can appreciate how frustrating and annoying it must be, to be cut off with no warning from a favorite site. We are still checking into the possibilities for a remedy.

I'm not able to tell with precision what the ad-loading sequence is, but it's likely that they do load after the actual page content is delivered.

Hello! I'm pleased to announce that we HAVE just deployed a fix to the site to restore access for your devices. (Sorry for duplicate messages; I assume there will be some.)

Thanks for your patience and forbearance as we searched for what to correct.

If for some reason the site does not load automatically for you, please clear your data for Daily Kos and try again.

We appreciate your support of Daily Kos.
