Hi there...this is the first time I've ever used Help, so perhaps this is the incorrect location. But can't find another place that appears applicable.

I keep receiving UNWANTED emails showing replies to comments I've made (in comment sections of diaries).

The box preceding "Email me when someone replies to my comment" is check-marked by default. I try to be sure to UNCHECK it before typing a comment.

CANCEL and PREVIEW are my only options upon typing a comment. Clicking PREVIEW brings up choices of RETURN TO EDIT and SUBMIT YOUR COMMENT.(without the "Email me when someone replies to my comment" displayed).

Is there a way to UNCHECK "Email me..." as the DEFAULT setting? A lot of words trying to ask a short question :/ I don't remember even seeing the "Email me..." thingy until recently. Using Firefox, Windows 7 Pro. Thanks!
