Sounds similar to the problem reported earlier by BluMominRedSt. I'm logged in, but can't expand comments or rec them. These comments, btw, are less than an hour old, so haven't timed out. Is there a workaround?

Should have specified: I'm running Firefox 66.0.5 on Windows 10 build 1803. Sorry!

Thanks for asking. Appreciate you adding the OS/browser info.
I'm pretty sure that her issue was because she wanted to rec stale comments. But if you're trying to rec new comments, that's probably a different issue for you.
Can you please give me a link to a story and/or a specific comment?
When you say you can't expand them, what do you mean? Are you aware that the little arrow to expand or collapse comments is now much smaller, and on the left side of the comment timestamp? The deploy of new-style comments yesterday is still catching people unaware of the impending transition.

Ah, I did find the arrow to expand a comment - and once expanded, could rec
    it. Problem solved!
Thanks. I don't know whether the arrow wasn't there before, or I just
wasn't seeing it; based on long experience, probably the latter :-(

It happens to us all. :) Glad it was such an easy resolution.
