That's because the diary was republished to the Front Page, rather than just being on the Recent and Recommended lists. When that happens, it IS subject to review by Staff. ;)

Yes, siab is correct: the caption under a Community author's name is reduced to the word Community when a post is republished to the Front Page. One more piece of information appears on all posts published to the Front Page, FYI. ln the left sidebar, under the PUBLISHED TO heading, the blog
Daily Kos
