I'm new to Daily Kos and I want to take my draft to another site outside. How do I accomplish this? I don't see any icon indicating the way.

Copy it to your personal computer and post it from there. You will probably have to copy the images separately, because it is unlikely that the Image Library will play host for any other site.

Strictly speaking, because of the differences in Editors between any two sites, you should copy text to a plain text file rather than a formatted file in a word processor, and reformat on the alternate site.

Note: If you publish to another site first, and then publish at Daily Kos, it will be worth mentioning the prior publication in the published diary at DK, unless you go under the same name for both sites. This is to keep from having to deal with questions about copyright infringement if people are not sure you're republishing your own work.
