Diary editor save didn't actually save the diary

Just about 10 minutes ago, I saved a diary draft and exited my browser. (I do this periodically because Firefox likes to consume lots of cpu time if too many tabs are open.) When I restarted my browser, my latest edits were missing.

Is there a way to open the same diary in progress in another tab, to verify that save worked?

    Hello, and thanks for asking.

Yes, you can definitely check on your draft in another tab. You can open your draft queue and then the draft you want to review. If you want to be really sure that you're seeing the latest version, you can refresh this confirmation tab. Go ahead and try it out. :)

Yes, sometimes saves don't take. Usually, you should get a warning that the save didn't succeed, especially if there was a server glitch, but unfortunately errors do happen.
