"Victoria Hearts" ads showing over and over, even after telling Google it's offensive / repetitive
Why do the "Victoria Hearts" singles ads keep showing even after I report the ad as offensive and repetitive, several times?
These ads are literally offensive and repetitive.
See attached image.
Thanks!

PS I cannot think of anything I may have done to warrant these unwanted Singles ads popping up when I view Daily Kos. I do not and have not ever gone to "singles" or "dating" websites of any description.
This is annoying because previously, every time I have reported an ad as offensive or even repetitive, it's gone away (at least temporarily). Victoria Hearts, not.
Should I contact Google.com? Will they be Not Evil???

Good question, thanks for asking. I'll see if I have a better answer to provide than this one, which explains our standard policy about commercial advertising.

Hi and thanks for the reply!
I have no problem with ads appearing on DKos pages; they pay bills, and I
sometimes even click on them.
The issue is whether Google is violating its own policies, or its own
technical rules, by serving up literally the same ad after I request it be
blocked, over and over.
Is this something which, in your experience, Google routinely does, or does
not, do?
Does Daily Kos feel comfortable asking Google if they are really trying to
follow viewer requests, or they are asleep at the switch (more
diplomatically, of course)?
I will not let an annoyance like this discourage me from Daily Kos and I
will consider subscribing.
Thanks very much,
Nils

Yes, I appreciate the distinction though it's fine that you clarified the issue at hand here. We'd like Google to respect their own guidelines, no question.
We'll see what happens. It is always a good idea for you, as an end consumer, to raise objections to what you see as violations of their policies.
Thanks, and thanks for considering subscribing.
