I try to send emails through the links to legislators - I see a request to fill out a captcha - but no code appears! WTF?
This is happening with Chrome, Firefox, I.E., Edge, and Opera

Thanks for asking. What story are you linking through?

This happens to me every time I try to sign a petition. I have now given up and won't even try anymore. What's the use of spending time writing a thoughtful letter which will never be sent?

It is happening on all letter requests to Senators! This has been going on
    for over a week.

We'd like to help. But it makes it much, much easier for us to have a specific story where you started this process. We'd also like to know your OS and browser in case it's affecting only certain configurations.
    Thank you.

This is happening with Chrome, Firefox, I.E., Edge, and Opera, and it has
happened on your ALL of your request to call or write our Senators to
    reject Trumpcare!

Thanks, I finally figured out the problem. It's not at all obvious, and it's a good thing that you asked.

In some petitions/letters, we DO have the Captcha form included with a code supplied. You know how to respond there: copy the code, and click submit; if you read it right then it'll upload.

But on occasion we'll include a Captcha box -- but without an actual code to decipher. Most of the time, people will be directed to those petitions through something that includes the explanation of how to proceed in this case. That is: Just ignore the Captcha altogether and click Submit. If there's no code available to replicate, then the Captcha filter won't be triggered and the submission will go through.

I apologize for not seeing what it was you were getting at the first time, and I appreciate your persistence with the question.
