How come I need a bank card to subscribe? Can't I mail you the money?

Would it be a satisfactory workaround for you to buy a prepaid visa card at the grocery store and put $100 on it, then use it for the subscription? I think there is no extra charge for that....

A prepaid card sounds good. There is also a mailing address.

    Previously, from elfling:

The Subscribe form accepts Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. We have
plans to accept PayPal again in the future, but not before the end of the year.

    Checks can be sent to:

    Daily Kos
    PO Box 3327
    Berkeley, CA 94703

Please make sure you include that it is for a subscription, and your username. If it is a gift, you'd want to include any gift message, the gifted user's name, and whether you want your gift to be anonymous.
